By deploying Car2X communication technology, the Autobahn GmbH will be able to use the vehicles themselves as a source of real-time traffic data, which can be used to create RTTI and SRTI. To fully integrate vehicle data as a new source of data in operational traffic management, there is a need for extending existing software and required processes. The approval of the revised ITS Directive (EU) 2023/2661 has consequences at both the European and the national levels. Currently, the Autobahn GmbH makes relevant traffic and traveller information available via the German NAP named Mobilithek and takes also care of other data initiatives like Mobility Data Space (MDS). To fulfil the requirements, in this Task the Autobahn GmbH will evaluate the current status of data accessibility, availability and quality within different data ecosystem (PVD for C-ITS or sensor data from vehicles for example as in Data For Road Safety (DFRS)). This Task will then update the existing software with new functionalities and improved processes to reach 85% coverage.

KPIs: extending existing software and required processes with at least 85% provision of data in the NAP.
