MobiData BW for enhancing Traffic Information Systems with Comprehensive Mobility Data Integration

In this Task, the state of Baden-Württemberg will expand its “MobiData-BW” platform to collect and centralize all the state's mobility data, including data on private and public transport (in accordance with open data regulations).

For this purpose, data will be collected and processed and added to the database. The mobility data will be transmitted to the national access point (Mobilithek) in appropriate quality, which will be ensured through newly implemented processes (part of the Task) for measuring data quality. Furthermore, this Task aims to support initiatives related to connected driving and road safety by providing relevant data and collaborating with sources such as districts and cities, as well as gathering feedback to further improve MobiData-BW, with the goal of developing MobiData into a fully
integrated mobility platform.

KPI: Successfully onboard at least 20 new data providers to the mobility data integration platform and integrate one new combined data profile into the open data website and services.

Type of implementation: Addition to existing systems.
