Traffic management software Baden-Württemberg for Decarbonizing Transport and Enhancing Mobility Management

The state of Baden-Württemberg is planning a management software to enforce intermodal mobility by the implementation of integrated traffic and mobility management strategies based on real time traffic information. The focus is not only on urban and metropolitan areas, but also on the connection of rural and urban areas e.g. with park and ride strategies. This is seen as a precondition for a successful increase of sustainable, intermodal trips. Therefore, not only the state of Baden-Württemberg but also local and municipal partners will be included in the above-named integrated strategies as soon as the centre is launched.

This Task will cover all activities necessary to design, develop, integrate, test, and commission the traffic & mobility management software and its supporting hardware platform.

KPIs: A fully implemented, integrated, tested, and commissioned Traffic & Mobility Management System (software + supporting hardware) installed at the Mobility Centre in Stuttgart, ready for operational.
