Evaluation and Enhancement of Intelligent Speed Assistance (ISA) Systems

This Task consists of a study to identify the needs for enhancing Intelligent Speed Assistance (ISA) systems within both physical and digital infrastructure on the TEN-T Core Network.

The Task will start with an assessment of the existing infrastructure required for sustainable ISA deployment on the TEN-T Core Network, highlighting gaps and areas for improvement. It will also consider the outcomes of the pilot implementation of the TN-ITS standard service in Cyprus. The Task will build upon the TN-ITS GO project, which offers valuable insights and lessons that can support ISA deployment and improve the quality of the speed limit database.

The subsequent step focuses on planning the required improvements. Based on the assessment, a detailed roadmap will be developed outlining the necessary actions.

KPIs: Assessment and identification of needs for the ISA system coverage of around 90% of the TEN-T Core Network.
